Curlew Sandpiper

A female breeding bird. This is the third times seeing this bird. They are four of them on the Penampang SABAH BORNEO padi field. Twice I see here and once at Lokawi beach. In flock with it are Wood sand piper, Long-toed stints, Red-necked stint and probably Sanderling which I can not identify it very well but try hard to see at legs part for hind toe as this bird has no hind toe. But the bird ran very fast and legs most of the times submerge in water mud. The day, today, is so hot with haze and can not stay long under sun. Under this weather condition I manage to take few shots just for a record. Happy birding.

Tools: Kowa TSN-884 spotting scope + Canon Digital IXUS 980 IS.
