After the Brahminy kites, suddenly it appeared walking proudly on the cut-paddy stalk. But at home I have hard time to identify it as it could be JAVAN POND HERON too. I finally take the 4th picture for the clue for Chinese. The colored wing tips and the brown streaked head are the descriptive for the Chinese Pond Heron. Comments are welcome. Thx.
