Malaysian Hawk Cuckoo (Cuculus fugax)

It was raining at the birding place and was able taking these birds when it stopped for awhile.
After about one and half hours birding, rain poured heavily. I went back home.
Happy birding.

  1. Hi Karim,

Check the pattern on the outer tail feather and the nape colour - it should tell you something...!

    Cheers

  2. Beautiful. I love when birds look into the camera like that -- or seem to -- especially exotic ones. They seem so alert and intense, yet magestic. I love the colours and textures of their feathers.

  3. Thanks Costea and Richard.
I look back to the book guide and it is noticable that red-color nape is not there. Thanks you very much Dave.
    Happy birding to all.
