Little Spiderhunter (Arachnothera longirostra)

I spent much time waiting for this bird. It came twice. As this bird did not stay still except when it sucked the banana flower , I simply shot continously. Happy birding.

    What amazing proportions that bird has between body and bill. Does it take spiders as well as nectar or does this depend upon the seasons of the year?

    The bird main food are spiders which available all year round while that nectar is seasonal. Happy birding.
