Mountain Serpent Eagle

While looking a penetration to Bornean barbet nest which covered by leaves, Mr. Andrew was busy trying to shot this bird and his eagerness to raptors really impress me. Twice this bird came hovering with quite loud of calls. The first time it appeared I quess Mr. Andrew missed this bird. The 2nd. time appearance, he got his target. Looking at him aggressively, I left my digiscope and joined him shooting this bird which happened it was just above us. Happy birding.

Blue-and-white flycatcher

I was going to crocker range again for Long-tailed broadbill, aaahhhh fail to see the bird again. Really an elusive! While taking break for the broadbill, a wellknown senior birder Mr. Andrew Siani came, I was really delighted birding with him. This male flycatcher was one of our target. Happy birding.

Bornean Barbet

I and Denis went to Crocker Range to look for Long-tailed broadbill and aaahhhh we disappointed. We did not see and heard no sound of call of it at all. My cure from this disappointment was this bird which is my lifer. Thanks to Mr Denis who showed me this bird. Happy birding.

Blue-throated Bee-eater

My favourite birding place is dry of bird. Only heard far-way calls. But Along the way home still me not that disappointed. I have these bee-eaters to farewell me home. Happy birding.

Swinhoe's snipe

It had been to see one bird on the field and today having a chance to see two of them but not for long. They ran away when they saw other people came from behind me. Happy birding.

Osprey

It has been almost a year that I do not see this bird. I have to go a bit far from the usual place where this bird perch. The bird a bit silhouette. Happy birding.

Chestnut-backed Scimitar Babbler

It has been quite sometimes probably a month or so that I do not go to nearest birding place. The gravel road is much improved. Some parts have been cemented. Hope it will be all the way the gravel road is tared or cemented.

Peregrine Falcon

Birding at Sugud today and found this bird on the way back home in the afternoon. One of the smallest bird of prey. Happy birding.

Stork-billed Kingfisher.

It is not easy to find this bird but I would say it not that rarely seen. I always am encounter with it in a pool of fresh water. Digiscoped with Kowa TSN-884 + Canon IXUS 980 IS. Happy birding.

Common Kestrel

Weather here at Kota Kinabalu is drizzling with no wind. I simply move out the house to look around nearby for birds. I caught this bird flying from paddyfield with its catch which seem to be a dove to a tree branch. Happy birding.

Black-headed Gull

Weather is not so good now at Kota Kinabalu for birding and so I am not going out for birding. And this morning after settling my utility bills, I went to Kota Kinabalu waterfront looking for Aleutian Tern for better images but could not spotted any. And instead these gulls seen many out the sea which were very far. Many of them perched on the pilot sea posts. I waited for about three hours and able to snap the birds as they came nearer to me.
