Banded Kingfisher

I and Denis http://www.flickr.com/photos/dgullaci/ were so excited seeing this in the open but may be the light on it was not satisfaction to photograph it. This bird is male and I was just unlucky did not see the female bird, Denis just lucky saw it. Hope I am able to see the female next time. Happy birding.
