I have been watching for Whited-faced Plover. I do not see any on the shore. But I get the feeling the first two pictures of my bird seem to be the breeding plumage of White-faced plover. Hope some body could confirm that for me. Kentish are many on the beach now and they are all fresh. I just love to see them coming again. Happy birding.

ReplyDeleteVery like! But the breast patches look a bit large. It may just be the way the bird is fluffing out its chest. Everything else looks right for White-faced. More pics?
