Another lifer of the year 2013 and it missed me sadly when it showed at very quick glance and disappeared to the dark undergrowth and hoping it would be back perching like other fishers with no shy at all so that I could take as possible nice picture as I could. Then we kept waiting for its next appearance. After an hour or so it really showed up landing on a nice dead wood branch for rather good long time for me to digiscope. What an excited moment!!!. It was just enough time for me to focus on nicely before it flew away from us. It was just happy moment for us to have this seen and photograph this rare little bird.
Happy birding.

Orange-headed Thrush
Got this bird after 3rd. outing. Friends have been going to the place where this bird is and came back home with lovely nice pictures of it. I was just felt sad and disappointed to myself for failing not even a glance of it for first 2 outings. Then when I was having few photos of this bird, I was feeling relief and just happy. With it my collection goes to 347 species shoot in Borneo. And location where this bird I got is at Rafflesia Centre, Tambunan, Sabah Borneo, Malaysia...

Horsfield's Babbler
It seem I manage to get a new bird to add to my bird list everytime I go birding this year. My number to new birds hard to go up last year whereas this year few birds already added.
I can not tell this bird in the field other than babbler but the sound and the color of the bird is the only my guide helping me to identify at home through book. It hard to photograph it because it moved from one small branch to another of almost non-stop jumping. It is my 337th. collection of the year 2012.
Happy birding.

Waders
Another waders are found this year 2011. I am consider lucky that I am able to see these birds almost every year. The phalarope is not predictable to where it uses to be except as long there is water. I was even find it on a small pool of water in the middle of the road and I just could not believe it when I saw it.
Red-necked Phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus)

Sharp-tailed Sandpiper (Calidris acuminata)
Happy birding.

Casting non-stop urine?????
Birding is one of very good activities. Giving good exercise to human bodies. When you go for birding, 100% sure that you are breathing clean air. You are giving carbon dioxide to trees and in return you receive oxygen from them. What is a healthy air!! Then, what you see when you are birding....wow! many beautiful birds, many insects, many mammals.....minute living things and what else..... oohhh...many many many more....beautiful flowers etc. Then incredibly what I saw was an inesct-CICADA-casting water unbelieveable intermittently but non stop from its body. May be this insect is drying itself and die because this insect life is very short. See the movie that I record. Have you seen this before?

Shooting at RDC
I went to Rainforest Discovery Centre, Sandakan last week attentionally for Ruddy Kingfisher which was seen two days ago before I reached the location. Birding there for two days but no sign of Ruddy Kingfisher seen. Hopefully next time. While came and went from the location, I shot other birds. There were many birds seen but I could digiscoped a few only. I missed Bornean Bristlhead too.
